Day 1: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
Your journey starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi, a small village at the trek’s starting point. The 7-8 hour ride takes you past green hills, terraced farms, and the roaring Trishuli River. Along the way, you’ll see locals selling fresh fruit like oranges and bananas—perfect for a quick snack! Once you reach Syabrubesi, rest at a cozy guesthouse and enjoy a warm meal of dal bhat (rice and lentils).

Day 2: Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel
After breakfast, begin your hike through forests filled with oak and pine trees. Listen for the sounds of monkeys playing in the trees! The trail follows the Langtang River, and you’ll cross wooden bridges over sparkling waterfalls. Lama Hotel, your stop for the night, is a small cluster of teahouses where you can sip hot tea and swap stories with other trekkers.

Day 3: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village
Today’s hike takes you higher into the mountains. As you climb, the air gets cooler, and the views of snow peaks like Langtang Lirung (23,711 ft) appear. You’ll pass through landslide areas rebuilt after the 2015 earthquake—proof of the locals’ resilience. Langtang Village, rebuilt with stone houses, welcomes you with yak cheese snacks and friendly smiles.

Day 4: Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa
This short 3-hour hike leads to Kyanjin Gompa, a Buddhist village surrounded by glaciers. Visit the ancient monastery, where monks chant prayers, and try local yak milk cheese. The afternoon is free to explore—climb a small hill for sunset views or relax by the river.

Day 5: Kyanjin Ri/Tserko Ri Summit
Wake up early to hike Kyanjin Ri (15,500 ft) or Tserko Ri (16,000 ft) for sunrise. The steep climb is tough, but the 360° views of the Himalayas—including Langtang Lirung and Gang Chhenpo—are worth it! Days 6-7: Return to Kathmandu
